Process

RCR's continuous improvement philosophy has resulted an incredible approach to refinishing. Our refinishing in shop-pieces are stripped with a "flow over" strip system where the liquid stripper flows over the piece and the existing finish is gently removed with a brush-eliminating the harmful "dipping process" which caused more problems than its worth- (raised grain, glue joints loosen, and lifting veneers).

Our prep department's objective is to prepare the pieces for the finishing department. This process includes sanding, repairs, re-gluing, caning and any repairs to the item that are necessary to achieve the right surface for the finishing.

Our finishing department is where the artistry of our master finisher's brings the products back to life by applying any hand graining necessary before color and or effect matching to using a true light system to insure exact matches to our customer's specifications. Our "top" or "finish" coats are a catalyzed product that is available in any exact sheen.

Ever on the move, RCR's on site refinishing process strives to provide the highest quality assurance for our clientele. Our team establishes an environment that insures protection. This area is administered by our experienced crew in order to prepare the wood for our finishing process including stripping if found to be necessary, or chemically cleaned for other repairs. The finishers orchestrate the touch up and finishing necessary for the client's requirements. Our team will spray finishes by applying state of the art on site equipment which will enable us to use the same high-end materials used in our finishing shop. Moreover, our team will leave the area as it was upon their arrival, with the exception of your newly refinished item reflecting our total dedication to quality assurance.
